My power and grace stem from within. They are intrinsic to my being and neither designed nor dictated by something I read in a book or by what others deem appropriate. That isn't to say that I haven't learned a lot from our community over the past decade. It's been a fantastic journey. :)

I respect varying degrees of protocol, but I’m far from the stereotypical Domme. Only my sub(s) can describe my nature, but I hope that one of her first adjectives would be, “trustworthy.” For me, there is no greater achievement.

I highly respect the mutual exchange of power within this lifestyle and I take nothing without permission. As such, I assume no dominance over subs to whom I have no claim. I believe submission is the greatest gift one can give; something to be cherished, nurtured, and held in the highest regard. It engenders power and inspires pride. Its vulnerability is sacred. Anything less is a farce and an insult to the community.

No need to call me “Miss” and please don’t call me “Mistress.” Ishara (išḫara) is the Hittite word for "treaty or binding promise," personified as a Goddess of the oath. As a Goddess, Ishara could inflict severe bodily penalties to oathbreakers. In Hurrian and Semitic traditions, Išḫara is a love Goddess.
